8 months agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Jalen Beeks pitched 3 1/3 scoreless innings on Thursday in the Rays win over the Twins. He came on after opener Ryne Stanek tossed the first two innings allowing two runs. Beeks now has a 5-0 record with a 2.79 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, and 51 strikeouts in 61 1/3 innings. He's more valuable in leagues that count wins, but can still put together some scoreless frames to help out the ratios. Despite his very solid ERA, he's only recommended when pitching against weaker lineups. He'll likely get the Orioles in Tampa which would be a solid streaming option.--Zach Alexander - RotoBaller
