Jakobi Meyers Ascends to Top Role for Second Consecutive Week
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Jakobi Meyers will operate atop the depth chart for the second week in a row after NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) is not expected to play in Sunday's Week 11 contest against the Los Angeles Chargers. Meyers made his Jaguars debut last week after being acquired from the Las Vegas Raiders at the trade deadline. He caught three passes for 41 yards despite playing a modest 44 percent of the offensive snaps. As Meyers gets more comfortable in his new offense, he'll play more snaps and earn more targets. We should see his involvement trend upward this Sunday, especially with Thomas out of the picture. Meyers continues to rank as a decent WR3/flex play.
