Jakob Marsee Continues To Struggle In Double-A
6 months agoMiami Marlins outfield prospect Jakob Marsee has been having a tough season in Double-A. Marsee, the club's No. 10 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, was acquired from the San Diego Padres as part of the Luis Arraez deal earlier this season, but no matter the affiliation, he has struggled this season. Between both club's and their Double-A affiliations this season, Marsee has hit a combined .182 with five homers, 13 RBI and 23 stolen bases. Marsee has a very patient eye at the plate which leads to good contact, but he doesn't offer much power. At the present time, Marsee is best served as a watch-list candidate in dynasty leagues with MLB Pipeline estimating him to reach the big leagues in 2025.
