Jakob Junis Dominated By Red Sox

Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Jakob Junis had a tough draw on Wednesday by facing off against Boston's ace Chris Sale, and unfortunately, he succumbed. After two quick runs in the first, only one of which was earned, Junis cruised until the fifth inning. It all fell apart in the fifth as he allowed three doubles, a single, and a walk before getting pulled. Junis finished the day with five earned runs on eight hits while walking three. This start hurts since it came off the back of two straight quality starts, but Junis is a risky play any time he walks out on the mound. He'll have a much easier draw next week when he welcomes the Tigers to Kauffman Stadium.
