2 years agoOttawa Senators defenseman Jakob Chychrun (lower body) won't play Saturday against New Jersey and will be out for "a couple of weeks", per head coach D.J. Smith. He was injured Wednesday versus the Lightning and it looks like Chychrun won't be able to return until the final couple of games of the regular season. The 24-year-old has been quiet since his move to Canada, but he has enjoyed a productive season overall, posting 33 points across 48 games with 144 shots on goal, 55 hits and 83 blocks. Jake Sanderson will be the main beneficiary of Chychrun's absence and will even join the top power-play unit for Saturday's action.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
