Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Jake Muzzin (neck) has been officially ruled out for the entire 2023-24 campaign. The 34-year-old suffered a cervical spine injury at the beginning of last season and has been out ever since. Muzzin, a Stanley Cup winner from 2014 with the Los Angeles Kings, moved to Toronto in 2019, and he's had an injury-riddled spell with the team, suiting up for just 187 games across four and a half seasons. The veteran blue-liner enters the final year of his contract, so we might have seen the last of Muzzin in a Maple Leafs jersey.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
