Texas Rangers corner infielder Jake Burger could be recalled from Triple-A Round Rock before Monday's series opener against the Colorado Rockies, according to the Dallas Morning News' Evan Grant. Burger has spent 10 days in the minors following his early-season demotion, so he's now eligible to return to the big-league roster if Texas wants him back. The 29-year-old right-handed slugger has gone 9-for-23 with two homers, a double, six RBI and five runs scored in his six games played for Round Rock, and he should be back with the Rangers this week as their regular first baseman despite hitting only .190/.232/.330 with a .562 OPS, three home runs, 12 RBI, 13 runs and 32 strikeouts in his first 30 games played for the team this year. Anyone looking for a corner-infield power in deeper fantasy leagues should consider scooping Burger up off the waiver wire if he's available.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
