Baltimore Orioles second baseman Jahmai Jones was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk last Friday, per MASN Sports' Rock Kubatko. The 23-year-old joined a crowded O's infield this spring with just seven big-league plate appearances and managed to slash just .136/.240/.273 throughout the spring, so it is not all that surprising that he got optioned. Ramon Urias and Pat Valaika are expected to start at second for the O's. Jones is still young and the O's are in rebuild mode, so he could potentially join the team at some point during the season. He has little fantasy value at this time.--Connelly Doan
