The Jacksonville Jaguars are set to hire former Atlanta Falcons defensive coordinator Ryan Nielsen as their new defensive coordinator on Monday, according to sources. The Falcons had initially denied the Jaguars permission to interview Nielsen before later agreeing to let him talk with Jacksonville. Nielsen will replace Mike Caldwell, who was fired after the 2023 season when the Jaguars missed the playoffs despite starting the year with an 8-3 record. The Jaguars lost five of their final six games and gave up an average of 29.2 points and 146.8 rushing yards per game in those five losses. Their only win during that span was a 26-0 shutout win over the lowly Carolina Panthers.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
