Houston Texans linebacker Jadeveon Clowney, who has yet to sign his franchise tag, is not expected to attend mandatory minicamp this week. The 26-year-old has loads of pass-rushing talent but has struggled to stay healthy in his five seasons in the NFL. He's played only one full season (2017) and played in just four games in his rookie campaign in 2014. Clowney can be a game-changer when healthy, though, which makes him a boom/bust IDP selection. Because of his extensive injury history, the Texans have shown cold feet in signing him to a long-term contract extension. The two sides have until July 15 to get something done or else Clowney might be forced to play out the 2019 season on the franchise tag.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
