Jacoby Brissett 2024 Outlook: Potential Early-Season Bridge Option For Superflex Leagues
7 months agoNew England Patriots quarterback Jacoby Brissett signed with the organization at the start of free agency, reuniting him with the team that selected him in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft out of N.C. State. While rookie quarterback Drake Maye is clearly viewed as the quarterback of the future, Brissett is primed to be the starting signal-caller to start the 2024 campaign. His supporting cast consisting of Rhamondre Stevenson, Antonio Gibson, Kendrick Bourne, Ja'Lynn Polk, Demario Douglas, and more doesn't figure to set him up for high-end fantasy weeks, but he could hold early-season value in superflex and two-QB formats. All starters are worth something in those leagues, so Brissett, who has thrown 51 touchdowns to 23 interceptions in his career, is likely to be in starting lineups in 12-team leagues. He projects to produce QB3 or low-end QB2 numbers given his lack of star pass-catchers.
