Jacob deGrom Extends Throwing Distance
3 years agoNew York Mets pitcher Jacob deGrom (shoulder) extended his throwing distance to 135 feet this week and said he feels "completely normal." He will continue to build distance and velocity in his throwing program, but there is still no timetable for his return. The 33-year-old has been sidelined all season due to a stress reaction on his right scapula. deGrom underwent an MRI last Monday, which showed continued healing of the scapula. Fantasy managers should continue to stash the Mets ace on their fantasy benches.
