Jacob deGrom Exits Early On Monday
2 years agoTexas Rangers pitcher Jacob deGrom left Monday's start early due to right wrist soreness. The right-hander hurled four no-hit innings before departing and forcing Rangers fans everywhere to collectively hold their breath. The oft-injured superstar has made just 23 starts over the last two seasons due to forearm and shoulder injuries while he was behind in camp this season due to a side injury. The right-hander struggled in his first start in a Rangers uniform on Opening Day but has since tossed 17 innings of three-run ball with 25 strikeouts over his last three starts including Monday's injury-shortened outing. The 34-year-old will continue to be evaluated with more information likely available in the next couple of days.
