Jackson Holliday Hitting Ninth In MLB Debut
8 months agoBaltimore Orioles infield prospect Jackson Holliday, the top prospect in all of baseball, is starting at second base and batting ninth for the O's in his major-league debut on Wednesday against the Boston Red Sox and right-hander Kutter Crawford. Holliday projects as a shortstop long-term, but for now he'll settle in at the keystone in the majors for Baltimore. Fantasy baseball managers won't be too stoked that the 20-year-old is at the bottom of the lineup, but he can still offer plenty of upside offensively in a stacked Orioles lineup. He was slashing .333/.482/.595 with two home runs, nine RBI and a stolen base in 10 games for Triple-A Norfolk before getting the call to the big leagues and has nothing left to prove in the minors. Holliday should have already been stashed in all fantasy leagues.
