Jackson Holliday Hits First Homer At Triple-A Since Return From Injury
6 months agoBaltimore Orioles infield prospect Jackson Holliday (elbow) crushed a home run for Triple-A Norfolk on Monday. It was the first home run for baseball's top overall prospect since he returned from the injured list on June 25. Holliday is hitting .268 at Norfolk this season with eight homers and 29 RBI in 55 games. The second baseman/shortstop has recorded a .434 on-base percentage and .902 OPS at Triple-A so far. The numbers have been good as Holliday attempts to regain confidence and make a return to Baltimore. His early-season struggles in the majors were well-documented but he has the talent to return and make an impact in the Orioles' lineup this season given the opportunity.
