J.D. McKissic Listed As Starter For Washington
4 years agoThe Washington Football Team's first depth chart of the season lists running back J.D. McKissic as the starting running back. We always warn our readers to take early season depth charts with a grain of salt, but this is something to watch after the team surprisingly cut veteran Adrian Peterson last week. Don't read too much into the listing on the depth chart, as Peyton Barber and rookie Antonio Gibson both figure to see plenty of work in this backfield. McKissic has a reputation as more of a third-down guy in his career, so if anything, he might be worth a late-round flier in really deep PPR leagues. Washington is expected to use more of a committee approach to the RB position, so it limits the overall upside of guys like Gibson, Barber and McKissic. Gibson is the most attractive fantasy piece of the trio.
