2 years agoSt. Louis Blues forward Ivan Barbashev will replace Brandon Saad (upper body) on the first line Thursday against New Jersey. Saad was injured Tuesday against Florida and is set to miss multiple games after the team added him to Injured Reserve Thursday. Barbashev had an outstanding game Tuesday with three points in a 6-2 win and getting a bigger role gives him an opportunity to impress further. He has amassed 10 goals and 27 points with 86 shots in 53 games over the course of the season. Saad's injury has also given Jake Neighbours a chance to re-enter the lineup.
