Isaiah Williams Leads Receivers In Win
Detroit Lions wide receiver Isaiah Williams was targeted eight times in the preseason game on Saturday against the Kansas City Chiefs, catching six passes for a team-high 71 yards. The undrafted rookie also caught a 37-yard bomb, leading all Detroit receivers for the second straight game in targets, catches, and yards. It should be noted that Williams had a great 20-yard punt return late in the game to set up kicker Jake Bates for the game-winning field goal. The 23-year-old looks like he might be higher up on the depth chart than initially thought by the start of the season.
