7 years agoLos Angeles Lakers point guard Isaiah Thomas continues to struggle with his new team, as he shot 3-for-15, good for only seven points, and also had five turnovers. He did have five assists and contributed well to areas that didn't show on the stat sheet but it's evident he hasn't shaken off the rust from his hip injury yet. Once Lonzo Ball comes back after the All-Star break, expect Thomas' value to drop even more with him backing up the rookie point guard. This isn't the ideal situation for the former MVP candidate, but if he was to get the max contract he is looking for, he might start producing and fast.--Kyle Pineda
