1 year agoNew York Knicks guard Immanuel Quickley has yet to have serious extension talks with the team, a source has told Sean Deveney of Heavy.com. The 24-year-old is on the verge of finishing off his rookie deal and will be a restricted free agent next summer if he can't agree on an extension with the Knicks. Quickley has developed extremely well with three years in New York, and an NBA executive has told Deveney that he could be seeking a similar deal to the one Jalen Brunson received from the Knicks -- four years and $104 million. Quickley, who averaged a 15-4-3 line last season, has been a real bargain for the Knicks so far and his 2023-24 salary will be only around $4.2 million.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
