Hyun-Jin Ryu Gives Up One Run In Rehab Start
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu (groin) allowed just one run on five hits while striking out three in five innings (71 pitches) during his rehab start for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday. Ryu is getting awfully close to being able to rejoin the Dodgers rotation for the stretch run. The Korean left-hander was 3-0 with a sparkling 2.12 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 36 strikeouts in 29 2/3 innings over six starts earlier this year. If he's available in any leagues right now, now would be the time to scoop him up and stash him for the final two months.
