Hunter Henry 2020 Outlook: Huge Upside If Healthy
5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry has a range of possible outcomes for the 2020 season, but that certainly includes huge upside. Henry has struggled with injuries quite a bit throughout his career, but has shown flashes of elite play and has been consistently good when on the field despite playing on some Chargers teams that have struggled with moving the ball through the air. With Philip Rivers in Indianapolis now, Tyrod Taylor and rookie Justin Herbert will be under center for the Chargers offense in 2020. Both will likely target Henry a bit more as the pocket mobility of the two quarterbacks should lead to some planned shorter passes and occasional dump offs. Henry is currently being drafted after a few tight ends with less upside, but he does come with the risk of injury leading to another lost season or several missed games. He's a risky pick, but there's definitely reward attached.
