Hunter Brown Picks Up Win In Quality Start Wednesday
6 months agoHouston Astros right-hander Hunter Brown was excellent in a 4-1 win over the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday. Brown allowed just one run on seven hits over six innings while striking out six and walking none. The only damage off Brown came via a Andrew Benintendi solo homer in the fourth inning. Brown improved his record to 4-5 with the win, to go along with a 4.72 ERA, 1.41 WHIP, and 82 strikeouts over 74 1/3 innings of work. The 25-year-old is best used as a matchup play against weaker offenses moving forward.
