Hideki Matsuyama rode his fourth-place Olympic finish into an even better second-place result at the FedEx WGC last week. His 64-63 weekend might have won most weekends if not for a slightly pedestrian start. The birdies started dropping and the Japanese golfer kept rising up the leaderboard. His putting, normally a weak point (181st overall), has been much better the past two weeks. With his tee-to-green game in top form, Matsuyama is in a good position heading into this week's Wyndham Championship. He should be one of the favorites as this is a course suited to his abilities. Also, Matsuyama again can be a streaky golfer where riding the wave is worth the risk. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
