Heliot Ramos Resting Monday
Heliot Ramos will not be in the lineup on Monday for the team's road matchup with the Detroit Tigers. It's just a regular day of rest for the 25-year-old, who has started all but one game thus far in 2025. Teammate Luis Matos will man left field and bat ninth in his stead. Ramos has been solid this season, posting a .281/.345/.472 triple slash with nine home runs, 11 doubles, 27 RBI, and 34 runs scored. Not much has changed regarding his batted ball metrics, and he's shown a slight (insignificant) decline in average exit velocity and hard-hit rate. However, Ramos has registered the hardest hit ball of his career in the early going (116 MPH) and is sporting a modest decline in strikeout percentage from 2024.
