Cincinnati Reds relief pitcher Heath Hembree was designated for assignment on Tuesday, according to C. Trent Rosencrans of The Athletic. Hembree had been in the mix for saves in Cincinnati for a while, but over his last seven innings of work he has allowed 13 runs on 10 hits and seven walks. For now, it appears that Mychal Givens is first in line for saves in the Reds' bullpen and will be followed by Michael Lorenzen. Hembree can be dropped in all formats.--Michael
