Healthy Brandon Marsh Homers, Triples In Return To Triple-A
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels prospect Brandon Marsh returned to the Triple-A lineup on Friday and went 2-for-5 with a triple, homer, three runs scored, and three runs driven in. He also struck out twice. Marsh had been on the injured list with shoulder inflammation. He also battled shoulder issues late last year. Prior to being reactivated at Triple-A, Marsh spent four games in Rookie ball on a short rehab assignment. He recorded seven hits and four walks in those games. Prior to taking about a month off to heal his shoulder, Marsh was hitting just .183 with a BB-K ratio of 14-19 in 16 games. At the start of the year, he was ranked by Rotoballer as one of the top rookies for the 2021 redraft season. He could still be an impact player for the Angels in the second half of the year.
