After improbably winning the last drafting race in the NASCAR Cup Series at Daytona to make the playoffs, Harrison Burton sits in the awkward position of being a playoff contender without a ride for next year. As a result, Burton will probably be trying really hard to prove himself more to land a ride for 2025 than to advance in the playoffs, which no one expects anyway. Burton's Penske satellite has been fast on the drafting tracks as the Penske cars have been in general and he finished 11th at Atlanta and 10th at Talladega before his win and he qualified 12th for this race. Burton has done pretty well at avoiding crashes on drafting tracks this year, so he might be a strong dark horse to get a sneaky good finish, but it likely won't be enough to advance in the playoffs or find another ride.--Sean Wrona - RotoBaller
