Harrison Barnes 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoSacramento Kings forward Harrison Barnes has always been a better actual player than in fantasy for much of his career. Outside scoring and making threes, Barnes does not bring too much to the table in category leagues. He was dealt midseason to the Kings and saw his number take a hit and we can assume that will happen once again this season with the emerging younger players like Buddy Hield, Bogdan Bogdanovic and Marvin Bagley eating into his minutes and looks. He will provide a lot of veteran leadership for the Kings like he did this summer for the USA Men's National Team, but that does not translate to fantasy prevalence. He is a borderline draftee in smaller leagues but can provide some end-of-the-bench value in deeper leagues. So, if you need some extra scoring and/or triples in the later rounds, Barnes can easily fill that void.
