Harold Varner III from tee to green is one of the better golfers on tour (24th overall -- .949 strokes gained). He has solid numbers driving a ball 301 yards on average and getting on the greens at 67th. The problem always seems to come down to putting and often later in tournaments. When one is constantly outside the top-100th (.017 strokes gained), that becomes a problem even on a 7500-yard course. At some point, Varner III has to putt somewhat consistently and that is why he may teeter around the cut line. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
