2 months agoCarolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen hinted at retirement after the Week 17 blowout loss to the Saints. "Sometimes the writing’s on the wall," Olsen said. The veteran tight end caught just two passes for 12 yards to close out the year. He managed to stay healthy after an injury riddled 2018 season, but he underwhelmed with 52 receptions for 597 yards and only two scores with quarterback Cam Newton (foot) injured for the majority of the season. If this is the end of the line for the 34-year-old, it's been a heck of a career for Olsen, who should be in consideration for the Hall of Fame when all is said and done. If he's out of the picture in 2020 and beyond, Ian Thomas would jump into TE1 consideration.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
