Gleyber Torres Expects To Return This Weekend
Gleyber Torres is expected to rejoin the lineup either Saturday or Sunday against the Orioles. Torres has been out since Aug. 21 due to a strained hamstring that he sustained while running down the first-base line. Prior to his injury, his bat had been heating up, having gone 9-for-22 with a .500 on-base percentage over his last seven games. Despite his alarming lack of power (three extra-base hits in 24 games), Torres will retain considerable season-long and DFS appeal upon his activation, especially versus Baltimore, whom he slugged 13 homers against last year.
