Giants Optimistic On Kenny Golladay, Kadarius Toney
3 years agoNew York Giants head coach Joe Judge said that wide receivers Kenny Golladay (knee) and Kadarius Toney (ankle) are making "good progress" and that he's "pretty optimistic" about them heading into Week 8 against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night. Judge stopped short of commenting about their availability on Monday, but he's optimistic that they'll practice on Friday after sitting out on Thursday. Both wideouts are likely headed for questionable tags this week, which will make them extremely risky fantasy options with the game being on Monday. The Giants should have to pass plenty against KC, so Sterling Shepard (hamstring), if active, could be heavily targeted. If Golladay and Toney miss another game, Dante Pettis and tight end Evan Engram should continue to play a bigger role in the offense.
