New York Giants head coach Joe Judge said that running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) is making "good progress," and he's "pretty optimistic" about him heading into a Monday night meeting with the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8. Barkley has a chance to return to practice on Friday after sitting out on Thursday, but it remains to be seen if the 24-year-old will be able to return this week after missing the last two games with a low ankle sprain. Making things more difficult for fantasy managers is the fact that the game is on Monday this week, so Barkley will be extremely dicey if he's a game-time decision. If he misses another game, Devontae Booker will have RB2/3 value, although his floor will be lowered against a Chiefs defense that has been strong against opposing RBs in recent weeks.--Keith Hernandez
