Giannis Antetokounmpo Scores 29 Points In 27 Minutes
2 years agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo returned to action with a 29-point performance Monday against Detroit, shooting 8-for-15 from the field and 11-for-17 at the foul line in a blowout victory. Milwaukee eased to a 150-130 win, so the team was able to limit Giannis to just 27 minutes of action. Despite seeing less playing time than he's used to, the former MVP grabbed a double-double with 12 rebounds and had four assists while even impressing with a 2-for-4 three-point shooting. Antetokounmpo looked truly back to his best here and should now be ready to crush it for the rest of the way, starting with Wednesday's marquee matchup against Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets.
