Giannis Antetokounmpo Enjoys His Fifth 50-Point Outing
2 years agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo was a one-man wrecking crew against the Pelicans on Sunday, shooting 20-for-26 from the floor and 7-for-12 at the foul line en route to 50 points in a 135-110 win. He was 3-for-4 from downtown and reached the 50-point mark for the fifth time in his career. Giannis' career record stands at 55 points, which he had earlier in the month against Washington. On Sunday, he needed only 30 minutes of action to get to 50 points, and he also had 13 rebounds and four assists. Antetokounmpo missed a bit of time a couple of weeks back with a sore knee, but he has returned with a vengeance, averaging 38.3 points and 12.8 rebounds across four games.
