7 months agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer (hamstring) ran without issue on Tuesday and will begin his rehab assignment with Double-A Corpus Christi on Wednesday, according to manager A.J. Hinch. Springer is scheduled to play on Thursday. Hinch said that Springer will require "at least three or four" rehab games before being considered for activation. The All-Star outfielder suffered a Grade 2 strain of his left hamstring on May 24. He was among the American League leaders in several categories at the time of his injury with a 1.032 OPS, .643 slugging percentage and 17 home runs in 216 plate appearances. Get him back into your fantasy lineups immediately when he's back in Houston's lineup.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
