George Springer Makes History In Sweep Of Indians
6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer went 3-for-6 on Monday with two home runs to help sweep the Indians 11-3 in the ALDS. Springer hit .429 in the series with three home runs and made history with eight home runs in his last nine postseason games. The outfielder is only the fourth player to do that in MLB history and the first since Carlos Beltran accomplished the feat in 2004. Springer has been a dynamite spark at the top of the lineup for an Astros offense that is humming right now.
