Gary Trent Jr. Scores 24 Points And Drills Four Three-Pointers

Portland Trail Blazers guard Gary Trent Jr. compiled 24 points, four rebounds, two assists, and one block through 34 minutes in the 130-107 win over the Magic on Monday. The 21-year-old also shot 4-for-6 from long distance. With Damian Lillard currently out (groin), the second-year player has been taking advantage of the opportunity to be more of a factor for the team, notching 24, 15, and 20 points in the last three games. The former Duke player should be started in a fantastic matchup against the Wizards on Wednesday based on his recent play and Washington's league-worst defense.
