Colorado Avalanche forward Gabriel Landeskog won't be available at the start of the season because of an unspecified injury. Head coach Jared Bednar has said that his captain won't skate anytime soon and the injury dates back to last season. Landeskog sat out the end of the regular season last term after undergoing knee surgery. He returned for the playoffs and appeared in all 20 games, collecting 22 points. Hopefully, this isn't anything too serious and the 2019 All-Star won't miss a lot of time. Health issues robbed Landeskog of 31 games last season, but he was still able to register his second-ever 30-goal campaign and put up 59 points in total.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
