Freddy Galvis Has Huge Afternoon

Cincinnati Reds second baseman Freddy Galvis had a huge game in a 17-7 loss to the Washington Nationals on Wednesday. Galvis went 4-for-5 with a homer, two runs, and two RBI in a losing effort. The 29-year-old was claimed off waivers earlier in the week after the Toronto Blue Jays released him in a bit of a surprise move. Galvis is hitting .268 with 19 homers, 55 runs, 54 RBI, and four steals. He should see regular playing time with the Reds moving forward, making him worth rostering in the majority of fantasy leagues.
