6 years agoSan Diego Padres catcher Francisco Mejia (knee) has been cleared to begin a rehab assignment. Mejia landed on the injured list May 11 due to a left knee sprain. He was struggling with the bat before the injury, so hopefully he can bounce back now. He'll likely see a week of minor league action before returning to the Padres roster.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
