Francisco Lindor Singles Twice, Draws Two Walks
New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor reached base in each of his four plate appearances during Saturday's game against the Texas Rangers. He went 2-for-2 with a pair of singles and a pair of walks. The 28-year-old struggled to the tune of a .202/.255/.362 slash line in June, but he's off to a good start to July as he's gone 3-for-5 with three walks over his first two games of the month. Overall, it's been another disappointing fantasy campaign thus far for Lindor. Over 77 games, he's slashed .247/.328/.420 with 12 home runs, nine stolen bases, 56 RBI and 46 runs. His average exit velocity (89.1 mph) and hard-hit rate (40%) are both the lowest they've been since 2017.
