Forrest Whitley Placed on Disabled List With Mild Oblique Strain
6 years agoHouston Astros pitching prospect Forrest Whitley (oblique) has been placed on the minor league disabled list. The injury is described as a mild oblique strain and Whitley is not expected to miss more than a few weeks. Whitley, one of the top pitching prospects in baseball, has only made six starts as he served a 50-game suspension to start the season. Whitley owns a 4.29 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and 3.75 K/BB ratio.
