Forrest Whitley Placed on Disabled List With Mild Oblique Strain
Houston Astros pitching prospect Forrest Whitley (oblique) has been placed on the minor league disabled list. The injury is described as a mild oblique strain and Whitley is not expected to miss more than a few weeks. Whitley, one of the top pitching prospects in baseball, has only made six starts as he served a 50-game suspension to start the season. Whitley owns a 4.29 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and 3.75 K/BB ratio.
