New Orleans Saints offensive tackle Forrest Lamp (undisclosed) has been placed on the injured reserve. The organization has not released details on the injury, but it sounds like Lamp's season is over before it begins. The former second round pick played one game with the team last year, but missed most of the season due to injury. He came into the league with plenty of promise as a second round selection by the Los Angeles Chargers. Since then, he only has one full season under his belt through his first four years in the league. The loss of Lamp shouldn't impact the Saints o-line too much, but it's a shame to watch Lamp's career get ruined by injuries.--Andy Webb
