Filip Chytil Ends New Jersey's Road Run
2 years agoNew York Rangers forward Filip Chytil recorded two points as the team ended New Jersey's hopes of reaching the all-time record for the longest road winning streak in the league. The Devils fell just one win short of the big milestone, with Chytil ending an 11-game run with a 4-3 game-winner 2:15 into overtime. The 23-year-old also had one assist in the game, while leading the team with five shots in 14:49 of ice time. Chytil has slowly started to pick up form again after missing a pair of games with an injury. Consistency is an issue with him, but Chytil is currently centering the second line, which puts him in a good spot to rack up the stats. With 22 games played, Chytil has registered six goals and eight assists for the season.
