Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin tallied four points during their overtime victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday evening. In the second period, Malkin tallied two helpers, the primary assist on Philip Tomasino's strike and the secondary assist on Erik Karlsson's goal. In the third period, Malkin found the back of the net on a snap shot to tie the game and force overtime. Then in overtime, Malkin scored his second goal of the evening to seal the victory. Since returning from a lower-body injury on February 22, Malkin has found the back of net three times and added four helpers. During this stretch, the 38-year-old has tallied six shots on goal and held a +2 rating. Even though Malkin has not been as consistent this season, he continues to see top six minutes in the Pittsburgh offense. He will look to stay hot on Saturday afternoon against the Boston Bruins.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
