Evgeni Malkin Enjoys Another Three-Point Outing

Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin had three points in a game for the third time in six games on Saturday, collecting two goals and one assist in a 6-4 loss to San Jose. Unfortunately, Malkin hasn't added anything to his tally in the games between, otherwise, we would be talking about a major scoring tear. His Saturday's performance also included a minus-three rating, so he can't be completely happy with his night at the office. Despite blowing hot and cold, Malkin is still having a good season, with 19 goals and 50 points posted in 49 appearances.
