Evan Engram Expects To Make Full Recovery
5 years agoNew York Giants tight end Evan Engram (foot), who had surgery to fix a Lisfranc ligament in his foot, expects to make a full recovery and should resume training in the spring. "It wasn’t a full-blown tear, but it needed some fixing," Engram said. His foot injury limited him to just eight games in 2019, and Engram caught 44 passes for 467 yards and three touchdowns. He's yet to play a full season in his three years in the NFL, which is concerning, but Engram will remain a TE1 at the most shallow position in fantasy football in 2020. If quarterback Daniel Jones improves in his second year, too, Engram could have his best season yet if he can stay on the field.
