Erin Blanchfield Scores Biggest Win Of Her Career
2 years agoIn her biggest win to date, Erin Blanchfield scored a huge second-round submission win in Saturday's main event to put her squarely in place for a future flyweight title shot. In 6:37 of action against former title contender Jessica Andrade, Blanchfield tallied 51 significant strikes and secured a rear-naked choke to end Andrade's night in the second round. Though Valentina Shevchenko is in her prime and looks to be invincible in the flyweight division, Blanchfield will serve as an interesting adversary who could pull off a major upset.
